DISAPPERING
Peggy is still losing weight. She is down to 100 pounds and has to be fed. She still smiles and walks around the nursing home.
I wonder how long she will continue to be watchable.
I have learned during this long process of watching Peggy disappear.......
Death is not the worse thing that can happen to a person!
Now, that I have watched Peggy disappear....I will be better able to watch my husband disappear because it is a tragedy on a different level.
But I am not blind sided by John's forgetfulness and blank stares. I can help him more than I did Peggy because she taught me! Thank you, Peggy!
I love you today, Peggy!
I love you today, John!
I wonder how long she will continue to be watchable.
